Another short entry today after going through my last one. It came across in entirely the wrong way I think. I'm not depressed or left wanting. My breakup was a bit of a shock, but I'm absolutely moving on. The concept of knowing someone intimately for five months and then never seeing them again in my life just seemed noteworthy.
Ok, 'nuff said. Just wanted to clear that up.

So how was the D and A7 ???
--dJF
They were good DJF. It was moving between them that caused problems (obviously). I also have a problem on not continuing to strum while I fumble for the next chord. In due time...in due time.
moving on is greatly aided through drinking. Two birds with one stone!
I wonder if guitar learning is similar to piano. I played piano by ear as a kid, self-taught. I think the only difference could be is my fingers did not hurt the way they might with stringed instruments.

It's a loss that deserves to be mourned. Preferably via a brief and appropriately solemn relationship loss ceremony, then happy hour wake where all your friends console you buying you drinks and telling you how much better off you are, while introducing you to new friends who, eventually after you recover for a respectable amount of time (or get back together), will introduce you to your soul mate. So when's the party...oops I mean ceremony?
A very nice thought anonymous. I'd love to have you take me out for a drink, but no ceremonies are required. All my friends are either single or tapped out on friends to set me up with, so I'm on my own anyway.
No mourning!! My head is up and I'm moving on, trying to find dates already. Getting hammered at my local pub isn't going to help me find my next love. At least one that I want to see the next morning!! Ha!!
