Ok, it didn't snow on Friday, but it did snow a bit on Wednesday night and it was damn near cold enough to snow tonight. Oddly enough, even with the cold, the ball was just jumping off the bats. We batted around in the first inning (including a double by yours truly) and batted around two other times during the game. We won something like 26-13. Their pitcher wasn't very good, so I don't expect as much production from us offensively tomorrow.
Tonight I was REALLY looking forward to playing for several reasons: 1) I hadn't played in several weeks 2) traffic SUCKED on the way out to Carol Stream (about an hour away) and 3) our internet connection at work was on and off every 10 minutes or so. Ugh. Ricardo was much worse off than I, because he was in the office before me (who isn't) and he had to deal with calling SBC. Double ugh.
Saturday morning softball at 10:30, batting practice at 9:45. It's going to be a long, cold day. A good warm up for Vegas though....just not actually warm.
