Taxday cometh

If you pay through estimated payments, you have one due in just a few short days: June 15th. Don't forget!! Statistically, the money you've made since the end of April is actually yours to keep!! In the U.K., they've only had two weeks of tax freedom!

On Monday in guitar class, we decided to play Turpentine by Brandi Carlile. This will be the song that we play next Monday in front of the entire school. For Guitar 1, we did Walk The Line. I'm looking forward to playing and practicing the song pretty much every day this week. Unfortunately for Ricardo, I'm practicing in the office some and he doesn't like the song at all. Sorry man!!

On Monday we also discussed, for some odd reason, Robby Benson. The famous Ice Castles song has a similar chord progression to one of the songs that we were playing, which is why it was brought up I guess. Anyway, do you remember that movie? The hockey player and the figure skater? Ultimate chick flick. So it got me to thinking: what the hell ever happened to that douche? Well, as the Wiki entry delineates, he's done some Broadway, some acting, some producing, some voice overs and professoring at a few universities. I just assumed he'd be in jail somewhere, because isn't that what happens to washed up Hollywood folks?
