Ripping some discs

Do you remember when I wrote about seeing a very strange bird on my way home from Starbucks not too long ago? I thought it was a Curlew Sandpiper, but it turns out the bird I saw was an American Woodcock, no snickering please. It's migration pattern leads it right across Chicago too! Nice job mom for finding that picture and description.

Went over to Ricardo's last night for a little soiree and took it easy on the drinking so I'd be ready for football this morning. Unfortunately, I should have probably spent more time drinking!! Football did not go well for my team and the cold and wet weather didn't help my passing game as QB. Still had fun though!! Anyway, at the party, Aussie Rick mentioned how he uses Windows Media Player to rip songs from cd's he owns to create MP3's . Though Rick would have no reason to lie, I was skeptical.....maybe I'm always skeptical though. Anyway, it's absolutely true and I was able to rip 20 or so cd's tonight without much trouble at all. It's very fast!!

Tomorrow, Thanksgiving pictures!

Actually, I didn't really rip any CD's before. There were some programs that allowed you to do a few before you had to buy the software. Most of my music is stolen!
