The first leg of my long weekend has gone just swimmingly. Easy flight in, it was actually a half hour early, then Joisey Ken and I hit Bada Bing! for a few cocktails. After a great egg bagel sandwich, we hit Hoboken as the staging area for our trip to Yankee Stadium. We took the Yankee Clipper boat (after hooking up with Ken's girlfriend) around the southern tip of Manhattan and up the East River to the stadium. It was really hot and humid, but the game was fun. The Sox scored 8 runs in the second, only to have NY come back and score 8 runs in the bottom half of the inning! The Sox ended up winning though.
I've taken plenty of pictures already and now it's off to Lake Wallenpaupack, PA. If you watch The Office, you'll remember this lake as the place they went for their little bonding experience where Pam walks on hot coals. Too funny!!
