Tonight I decided to make ribs on the grill for the first time ever. In fact, I've never cooked ribs using ANY method. So today I went online to get a recipe and settled on
this one. The rub I chose was a sweeter rub with brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, pepper and garlic powder. Some other ingredients, like salt, were called for, but I left them out because there's plenty of salt in the sauce anyway.
And they turned out fantastic!! I was really, really happy. The slab was cut in half and one half did have some sugar burn on the bottom (I think from the apple juice/rub combo), but the other half did not. I even made mesquite wood smoke bombs as called for in the recipe and they worked like a charm.
I can cook ribs!!!!

lol - did you have any doubt you could? The grill is still a mystery for me as I have never owned one.

Mmmm, that sounds SO good! I cook everything I can on the grill whenever possible.
