Riiiiipppppp.......yeouch!!!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!

Well, I got the heart monitor removed today. How did it go? Well take a look:

Looks like it hurt doesn't it? Yeah, that's because it did. My chest looks like an English corn field that's been the victim of crop circle pranksters. I was still at the doctors office when I took this picture.

It'll be three or four days before I find out the results.

On to other tidbits from my day(s). Recently I've changed parking spots, which doesn't sound significant but it has a big impact on my daily life. The old spot was under a tree that drops these sticky yellow seeds, which stick to the car and then this goo they give off hardens like sap. It's really annoying. For the last several years I've tried to move my spot to another lot which is at least relatively close and from which I can still start the car while in my house (important for the winter).

The old spot is next to the gray car in the middle of the lot in this picture, right under that big tree. Ugh.

The new spot is against the fence in this three car lot. It's 10% more than the other spot, but much closer and no sap producing trees!! Yay!!!!

Wednesday night I'm going to the Sox game and Thursday I'm going to see the Hawks playoff game!! Should be a fun couple of days!!

OUCH! I'm sorry, but I can't help compare the picture of your chest to the scene from "The 40 Year Old Virgin" where Steve Carell gets his chest waxed. Of course, you are 90% less hairy than he was.

Congrats on the new parking spot. A good spot is imperitive. My company pays for me to park in a ramp just a couple blocks from the office and with skyway access (good for those cold and/or rainy days.) There is a particular spot I like to park in and it just ruins my morning when I find someone else parked in MY spot!

That is a VERY appropriate analogy. I should have yelled "Kelly Clarkson!!" when the nurse took the tape off.

Closer means less walking in the cold during winter - very good man.

Hope the results are clean.

The marks bring back memories - not good ones.
