Time to watch some football and the Winter Classic at Wrigley Field where the Blackhawks are playing the Redwings from Detroit in what should be a good game. It's the third outdoor game for the NHL, the second Winter Classic version. There are going to be a lot of really bad seats for watching the game and in 30 degree weather with 35 mph gusts, making it feel like 15 degrees or so. There's no warming area there at Wrigley for the fans either, like there is at Soldier Field. The bathrooms though do have warm air vented in, but I'm not sure it's worth hanging out in the bathroom. It looks like a full crowd, but man....all I can think about is how many BAD seats there are. Not a particularly good venue for hockey.
